Donations

In Buddhism, Dāna Pāramitā (donation), the perfection of generosity, is the first realization of the bodhisattvas. Dāna is giving with an open heart, open arms, and an open mind according to your ability. Pāramitā is a practice to cultivate on the path of awakening. Dāna Pāramitā is truly a way for us to let go and benefit others and a way we cultivate joy, appreciation, end the sense of separateness between self and other.

Philadelphia Buddhist Association does not charge for any of its activities. We invite you to make a donation to help us to run these programs which includes weekly sitting meditations in Plymouth Friends Meeting and in Radnor Friends Meeting, monthly Lecture and Discussion, and monthly Sutra Study.
